I got a full time job. It's not in libraries or education (the two things that I studied in college). It's an opportunity to earn moolah so I can pay bills. I start on Monday morning. I will be working with Amanda some so we will be seeing more of each other than we currently do. That's about all that's new with me for now. Not really in the mood to write more than that. Keeping things to myself for the most part in order to preserve my sanity.

10 Trifecta
I am a nerd and I like numbers. I know it. Those close to me know it. So, I really don't have to even try to notice things with numbers that I find interesting. The teacher/ librarian in me also likes to share these things with others. Thus this post. If you haven't noticed today's date it is October 10, 2010, or if you'd rather 10/10/10. Cool, right? Think about it for a minute. There are only a dozen dates each century that have this cool feature! And this one has been given 3 perfect scores by the judges! What makes it even better for me is that when I looked outside today before going to church it was raining. I love the rain! I love the sound of rain. I love the feel of rain. I love the smell of rain. The rain is probably the only thing I really miss about the south. I can find or make the food. I keep in touch with the people for the most part. But nothing can take the place of a great rain storm!!! It's like when it rains the heavens are sharing in how I feel helping me feel less alone. If I were to score this day I'd give it triple 10's!
P.S. - I was just informed by my dear little brother another cool fact about today's date. 101010 is binary for the number 42. This is made doubly cool by the fact that this blog post 42 for me! So grab your Hitchhiker's Guide and your towel and remember: Don't Panic!
